Final Preparations for Christian Nodal's Concert in Morelia
As the celebration of Noche Mexicana approaches on September 15, 2025, the historic center of Morelia is finalizing arrangements for a concert featuring Christian Nodal. Workers have completed the stage setup along Madero Poniente Avenue near the Plaza de Armas and are set to install audio, lighting, and video systems shortly. Security measures are being put in place, including barriers at Melchor Ocampo Square to manage access and define concert areas, although security arches have yet to be installed.
The event will also include a traditional popular fair, with tents already set up for approximately 710 informal vendors in various nearby locations. Preparations are underway for seating arrangements for the parade scheduled for September 16, which will proceed from Plaza Jardn Morelos to the Lzaro Crdenas monument. Civil Guard towers have been deployed around the Government Palace to monitor the activities over the next two days. Local traffic is currently restricted on several streets, with further road closures expected to facilitate concert operations and public safety measures.
